Machine Vision Pleat Counting
Upload a photo of a pleated filter and the face is perspective-corrected before counting. Ridges are found by autocorrelation, the frame and grating are detected and excluded, and pitch, pleats-per-foot, and open area are reported — entirely in the browser.

Frame the face
Corners snap to the pleated area automatically — the smooth, bright frame is excluded. Drag the purple dots to fine-tune; the rectified view in step 3 shows exactly what falls inside the frame.
Count pleats
Spacing is a fraction of the detected pitch — go low for minipleats. Orientation forces the ridge direction if auto picks wrong; the tilt guide recenters the ±12° lean search for strongly tilted pleats. Everything recounts when a setting changes. Tap the image, or click in the trace below it, to add a missed ridge or remove a false one.
